Another Roman ship of imperial times has been found in the site of the Metro in Piazza Municipio. This excavation, in the central square of Naples, has been called by archaeologists who follow the work of the line, a true “well of St. Patrick”.
Thanks to the excavations for the construction of the subway, in the square area, infact, it has been found the port of the ancient Neapolis from where the boats departed to pick up cargoes from large ships that because of their size, they could not dock at the port.
However, the area of the discovery of the find is far away from the area of the new Municipio Station which should open regularly later this year.
